BPC-157 and TB-500 for shoulder impingement: 6-week update
I’m currently at the 6-week mark of my protocol for a nagging shoulder impingement that’s kept me out of the gym for months. I’ve been doing 250mcg of BPC-157 SubQ twice daily and 500mcg of TB-500 twice weekly. The progress has been steady—I finally have full range of motion without that sharp 'catching' sensation I was getting during overhead presses. My HRV has also been trending upward, moving from a baseline of 35ms to 52ms, which I’m attributing to less systemic inflammation. I’m feeling very optimistic about the July PCAC meetings confirming the long-term availability of these. Has anyone transitioned to a maintenance dose after hitting their recovery goals, or do you just stop the protocol entirely? I’m worried about the pain returning if I drop off too quickly.
That is an excellent update. It sounds like you are seeing the classic synergistic effects of these two compounds. BPC-157 is working locally on your shoulder by promoting angiogenesis and accelerating tendon-to-bone healing through the upregulation of growth factor receptors like VEGFR2. Meanwhile, TB-500 is acting systemically, promoting cell migration and actin polymerization, which likely explains the systemic reduction in inflammation you are tracking via your HRV improvements. Since you have hit the 6-week mark, many users find it beneficial to monitor for any fatigue or lethargy, as long-term use can sometimes lead to transient systemic downregulation. As you transition back into training, do not rush the load progression; even if the pain is gone, the tissue remodeling process continues well beyond the symptomatic relief phase. Keep focusing on your physical therapy exercises to ensure the joint mechanics are sound so you do not re-aggravate the original impingement. Great work staying disciplined with your protocol.
