Stacking GHK-Cu and BPC-157 for chronic shoulder issues
I’ve been dealing with a nagging rotator cuff injury for over a year. My doctor finally cleared me to start a targeted protocol now that access has opened up again. I’m currently running 250mcg of BPC-157 SubQ twice daily, and I’m considering adding GHK-Cu to the mix to help with the connective tissue repair. Does anyone have experience stacking these two? I’m wondering if I should inject them at the same time or space them out throughout the day. Also, for those who have used GHK-Cu, did you notice any systemic effects, or is it mostly localized to the injection site? I’m really hoping to get back to overhead pressing by the summer, so any tips on optimizing this recovery stack would be greatly appreciated.
It is great to hear you are taking a structured approach to your recovery. Combining BPC-157 and GHK-Cu is a popular strategy for connective tissue health, as they address injury from different angles. BPC-157 is renowned for its ability to accelerate tendon-to-bone healing and promote angiogenesis, whereas GHK-Cu acts as a copper-binding peptide that modulates collagen synthesis and stabilizes the extracellular matrix. Many users find success by spacing these out; I personally prefer BPC-157 in the morning and evening to keep plasma levels consistent, while administering GHK-Cu mid-day. Be aware that GHK-Cu can occasionally cause mild site irritation or a stinging sensation due to the acidity of the copper ions. As always, ensure you are using a high-quality source and sterile technique. This is not medical advice, but in my experience, the synergy of tissue repair and remodeling makes this a potent stack for chronic inflammation. Listen to your body and adjust dosages slowly if you experience any sensitivity.
